Little builders, take note: The architect and his model house
The design is wonderfully detailed and gives your child so much to discover and color in. There's the model house with its pointed roof, the rolled-up building plans on the table, the architect with his glasses, and maybe even a little cup of coffee that simply can't be missing. The architect's clothing and workspace also invite lots of colorful choices.
Coloring idea: A rainbow-colored house
How about not leaving the model house plain white, but instead having it shine in your child's favorite colors? A turquoise roof, yellow walls, and a pink door – why not? After all, architects are allowed to be playful too. The desk can be nicely designed in wood tones, while the building plans get a fresh contrast with light blue or green shades.
Let your child's imagination run free and make up a little story together: Who is the architect building this house for? Maybe a family with a dog lives there, or a princess with her dragon?
