A butterfly bids farewell to summer in the autumn leaves
There are several lovely things for your child to discover and color in here. The butterfly's delicate wings with their patterns invite all kinds of playful color choices, while the leaves scattered around lie on the ground in many different shapes. Some are round, some pointed, some even curl up a little, just like real autumn leaves do.
Tip: Capture the autumn mood with warm colors
The picture looks especially lovely when you reach for classic autumn colors together. Orange, reddish brown, yellow and a rich brown go wonderfully with the leaves, while the butterfly itself is welcome to stand out a bit. A bold blue or a soft purple on the wings creates a pretty contrast with the warm leaves below and brings the picture to life.
Maybe you can also tell your child that some butterflies are still looking for a cozy spot for the winter in autumn, much like we look for thick sweaters and warm socks. You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the coloring fun can begin together.
