A butterfly dances over the daffodil meadow
There's plenty for little artist hands to discover here. The butterfly's wings offer up large areas and delicate patterns just waiting for bright colors, and the daffodils, with their trumpet-shaped blooms and slender stems, invite a closer look. The background with clouds, grass, and maybe the sun also leaves room for your own ideas.
Coloring idea: From soft to bold
A nice tip for this picture is to play around with colors. The daffodils can shine in their classic yellow, but softer shades like creamy white for the outer petals look lovely too. For the butterfly, you can decide together whether it should sparkle in bold orange and blue or drift through the meadow in gentle pastel tones. There's no right or wrong here, just beautiful possibilities.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the butterfly is searching for the prettiest daffodil in the whole meadow to take a nap in the sun. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and spring can make its way onto the paper.
