A prickly friend: the cactus coloring page
In the picture, a chubby little cactus in a pretty pot is waiting to be filled with color. The many tiny spines, the ridges on the cactus body, and maybe even a little flower on top offer plenty of room to discover and color in. The pot and the ground can also be designed to your heart's content.
Coloring idea: Why does green have to be green anyway?
A cactus can of course be classic green, with darker shading in the ridges for a bit of depth. But who says a cactus can't be turquoise, purple, or even pink? With this motif especially, kids are welcome to break away from reality and let their imagination run wild. The pot is wonderful for patterns, stripes, or dots, and a fine colored pencil is worth using for the spines so they look nice and delicate.
