Splash! A Car Drives Through a Puddle
Your child can really get creative here. The car's body invites bold, bright colors, the tires can be colored dark and textured, and the water splashes offer plenty of room to experiment with blue, turquoise, or even a touch of silver for a shiny effect. The background, with the road and maybe a few clouds or puddle ripples, can be designed freely too.
Coloring idea: Bringing the puddle to life
A nice tip for at home: let the car shine in your child's favorite color, like red, yellow, or a cheerful green. The splashes around the puddle can be colored in several shades of blue, which adds movement to the picture and makes it look extra lively. For a fun detail, dab small light spots onto the water drops with a lighter pencil, so it looks as if the sun is reflecting in the splashing water.
You could also come up with a little story together: where is the car rushing off to? Maybe to the playground, or hurrying back home before the next rain shower arrives.
