Catfish on the Riverbed Coloring Page

Dear parents, do you know that feeling when you just withdraw for a moment and let the world drift by? That's exactly what our catfish is doing right now. All relaxed, it lies on the riverbed between stones and plants, watching what's happening up there in the water. With its typical whiskers around its mouth and its long, streamlined body, it's a real one-of-a-kind among fish.

The cozy catfish on the riverbed

There's plenty for your child to discover and color in here. The long whiskers, the big eyes, the fins with their fine lines, and of course the whole riverbed with stones, water plants, and maybe a few little bubbles. Plenty of room for imagination and steady hands with the colored pencil.

Tip for colorful river stories

Catfish are usually grayish-brown to dark gray in real life, but who says that can't change while coloring? Maybe our fish will become a shimmering blue-gray with silvery highlights, or get bright, flashy fins because it secretly wants to be the star of the river. The riverbed can be beautifully designed in soft green and brown tones, with a few gray stones and maybe even little fish or water plants added in.

Simply download the coloring page for free and print it out at home at your leisure on a regular A4 sheet. All you need then are colored pencils or crayons, a cozy corner, and the journey to the riverbed can begin, no wet feet required.
