Centaur Picking Apples Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a centaur who, balancing between his horse legs and his human torso, is calmly climbing an apple tree. Half human, half horse, and yet with just as much appetite for a crisp apple as the rest of us. Characters like this simply fascinate kids because they stand so wonderfully between two worlds.

A Centaur Goes Apple Picking
Your child can color in the sturdy horse body here, the muscular arms picking apples, and of course the tree full of round apples. A few details like leaves, grass, and maybe a curious bird at the edge are also waiting to be brought to life with color. So there's definitely enough room for both big and little coloring artists.
Tip: Autumn colors for the apple tree
The picture looks especially pretty when the tree glows in rich greens and browns and the apples shine in bold red or sunny yellow. The centaur himself can get a warm brown or beige for his coat, while his torso might look a little tanned from all that gardening. If you like, you can invent a little story to go with it: maybe the centaur is gathering apples for a big autumn festival in the forest, to which all his animal friends are invited. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard letter size paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the apple harvest can begin in your favorite colors.
