Magical Tree Decorating: Children Decorate the Christmas Tree
The picture is full of little details to discover and color in. There are round baubles in all sizes, a treetop with a star, hanging garlands, and of course the tree itself with its many branches. The children's faces, with their focused or happy expressions, also invite little ones to look closely as they color with crayons.
Tip: Color the tree in stages
The picture turns out best when the tree is colored first and the decorations afterward. That way your child can first calmly try out different shades of green for the branches before adding the colorful baubles in red, gold, and blue. Warm winter tones like burgundy or a soft reindeer brown work well for the children's clothing, and if you like, you can make the stars sparkle golden by tracing over the outlines with a glitter pen.
Maybe you can decide together what color the fairy lights should be, or whether a little dog or cat should join the celebration on the floor, which you can draw in yourselves.
