When hats are pulled down low and cheeks turn rosy, it’s sledding time! This cheerful coloring page shows children sledding down a mountainside. Perhaps the picture reminds you of a winter outing of your own, when the sled went faster than expected and kicked up a little cloud of snow at the end.

Racing down the mountainside: children sledding
In the picture, the children zoom down the slope on their sleds while mountains rise all around into the winter sky. Your child can color the thick jackets, scarves, and hats in bright shades and give the snow its very own magic. Will there be blue shadows in the snow, a rosy sky, or perhaps even yellow sunbeams? The sled runners and tracks in the snow are waiting for color too.
Winter colors for a speedy sled ride
Light blue, gray, and a touch of purple look especially lovely for the mountainside, though white snow can of course simply stay white. The sleds can really stand out: a speedy red sled, a green one, or a model with colorful stripes will bring movement to the picture. Perhaps one child is wearing an orange scarf fluttering in the wind, while another has a hat with a funny pom-pom. You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Then it’s time to get the crayons ready, find a cozy spot, and start the sledding party on paper. Who knows—maybe a cup of warm cocoa is already waiting for the little sledders at the bottom of the hill.
