A demon bravely rows across the glowing lava lake
Your child can give the demon horns, a long tail, or a wild face, however they like. Maybe the character is wearing a cape, or perhaps the boat already has a little dent from a hot lava bubble. All around, glowing waves, rising smoke, dark rocks, and a mysterious sky can take shape. That way, every colored picture tells its own story.
Hot colors for a cool boat trip
Bright red, orange, and yellow work wonderfully together for the lava: yellow in the middle, orange around it, and red at the edges make the lake look especially hot. The rocks, on the other hand, can be dark gray, brown, or black so the lava really shines. The boat can be warm brown or sail across the lake as a surprisingly colorful vessel. Purple, green, red, or even blue are great ideas for the demon—after all, there are no color rules in a fantasy world. Maybe he is rowing toward an island of black rock because a lost treasure is waiting there. You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are some coloring pencils, a little imagination, and a safe spot far away from real volcanoes.
