The Elf Chef and His Bubbling Magic Potion
What makes this picture especially lovely are the little details your kids can discover and color in. The elf chef wears a pointy hat and an apron full of pockets, surely hiding even more secret herbs. His big wooden spoon stirs the cauldron, from which colorful bubbles rise up. You might even spot a curious little owl or a mushroom by the path that also wants to be colored.
Coloring Idea: A Potion in Rainbow Colors
Who says a magic potion has to be green, anyway? Let your kids freely decide which color steams out of the cauldron. A purple potion with golden sparks, a turquoise one with pink bubbles, or a classic green one with glowing dots – anything goes, because magic knows no rules. The elf chef's hat and apron are wonderful for bold colors like red, blue, or a rich brown, while the background can be filled in with soft forest tones of green and brown.
Feel free to invent a little story to go along with it: What does the elf chef need his potion for? Should it make flowers grow, or capture starlight? You can download the elf chef coloring page for free and easily print it at home on a sheet of A4 paper, and the magical coloring session can begin.
