The Loyal Elf Guardian at the Mysterious Tree Gate
What's especially lovely about this coloring page is the tree gate itself, with its knotty bark and little decorations that look as if they were hand-carved. While coloring, your kids can imagine what secrets might be hiding behind it. The elf guardian, with his pointed hat and watchful gaze, also invites them to give him his very own face and mood, sometimes brave, sometimes mischievous.
Coloring Idea: A Guardian in His Favorite Colors
Warm brown tones work well for the tree bark, lightened up with a bit of moss green for the small patches and vines. The tree gate itself can shimmer in gold or copper, which makes it look even more magical. The elf guardian himself is the perfect playground for bold colors: a cloak in fir green or berry red, paired perhaps with pointed ears in a soft pink.
If you like, you can even make up a little story while coloring, for example about who the guardian lets through the gate today and who he doesn't. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on a regular A4 sheet, and the shared coloring adventure can begin.
