The Engineer Surveys a Plot of Land with a Theodolite
Your child can discover the engineer in his work clothes, take a close look at the theodolite on its tripod, and think about what the surrounding plot of land might look like. Maybe grass is already growing there, maybe a few bushes line the edge, or perhaps there are small marker stakes in the ground. Nothing is set in stone yet, and that's exactly what makes this coloring page so inviting.
Coloring idea: Bringing the tools and meadow to life
Gray and black tones work especially well for the theodolite, giving it a nice technical and precise look. The tripod can shine in wood brown or metallic gray, depending on what your child prefers. The engineer's work clothes can glow in bold orange or yellow, just like many real safety vests do, which instantly makes the character feel more lively.
All around, creativity is welcome: the plot of land can be colored in rich green, with little colorful flowers along the edge or a path made of light brown stones. Some children even come up with a little story to go along with it, like imagining that a playground or a treehouse will soon be built here. You can download the coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper, so nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring afternoon.
