The Forester with the Folding Ruler: A Coloring Page Forest Story
The picture is full of little details to discover and color in. There's the green forester's uniform with its handy pockets, the wide-brimmed hat, the tape measure wrapped around the thick trunk, and of course the tree itself with its rough bark and sprawling branches. The forest floor with grasses, maybe a few mushrooms, and scattered pinecones also invites colorful creativity. Children who love the forest and nature will be delighted with this picture.
Tip: Colorful from Trunk to Treetop
While coloring, you can think together about what kind of tree this might be. An oak with gnarled, dark brown bark and rich green tones in the crown? Or perhaps a fantasy color, where the trunk gets to be purple or turquoise for once? The forester himself works well in classic forest green, and his hat can shine a bit bolder in dark brown or even red. If you like, make up a little story to go along with it: how old might the tree have grown, and what has it experienced in the forest over all these years?
