Front-Facing Rhino with a Big Horn Coloring Page

So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a rhino facing forward, standing firmly on all four legs, with an impressively large horn jutting out right from the middle of its face. It's this head-on view that makes the picture special: the animal looks strong and a little curious, almost as if it's greeting the young artists at home face to face.

A rhino with a mighty horn looks right at you

Your child can color in the rhino's thick, wrinkly skin, the small ears on the sides, and of course the horn, which is really the star of this picture. The ground beneath its feet and the background also leave plenty of room for your child's own ideas, in case there's an urge for even more color.

Coloring tip: Gray giants with a surprise

Rhinos are usually shown in shades of gray, but who says it has to stay that way? Try a soft gray-brown for the skin and add a splash of color on the horn with a bold beige or even pink. That gives the animal its own special character, maybe it's a rhino that just wandered in from a colorful flower meadow.

If you like, you can dream up a matching background for the story too, a dusty path through the savanna or a cool river where the rhino is taking a dip to cool off. Just download the coloring page for free and print it at home on a regular sheet of A4 paper. Then grab some pencils, crayons, or watercolors and start coloring, however you and your child like it best.
