Sweet Tooth with a Long Neck: The Giraffe Eats Leaves
Your child gets to color two things here that belong together: the tall animal with its typical spotted pattern and the tree with its dense canopy of leaves. There's room for lots of little details, from the giraffe's gentle gaze to the branches stretching out in every direction.
Tip: Spots first, leaves last
A little trick for coloring: first apply the giraffe's base color, such as a warm yellow or beige, and then add the brown spots on top. That way the pattern stays nice and clear. When it comes to the tree, feel free to experiment, because the leaves don't all have to shine in the same green. A mix of light green, dark green, and maybe a hint of yellow makes the canopy look lively, as if the sun were shining right through it.
