Gnome Fishing by the River Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a little gnome who has made himself comfortable on the riverbank, holding his fishing rod tightly with his eyes fixed on the water. Maybe a big fish is about to bite, or maybe just an old boot – with gnomes, you never quite know.

A patient gnome with a fishing rod on the riverbank
There's plenty to discover: the pointed hat, the bushy beard, the fishing line reaching down into the water, and of course the river itself with little waves and perhaps a few curious fish underneath. Stones, grass, and a tree on the bank are also waiting to be brought to life with color.
Tip: Time for color play by the water
The river practically invites you to experiment with shades of blue. How about trying a bright turquoise here and a deep dark blue there together with your child, to make the water look really lively? The gnome's pointed hat can happily turn a bold red or green, while the beard shines in soft gray or white.
Along the way, you can invent a little story: What might the gnome be called, and what will he do with the fish if he actually catches one? Questions like these often lead to the loveliest conversations while coloring. You can download the picture for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper – then nothing stands in the way of coloring and fishing fun together.
