The green turtle: taking it easy at its own pace
In the picture, the turtle wears a lovely big shell made up of lots of little sections that fit together like a puzzle. Add to that short little legs, a curious head, and plenty of space all around for your child to fill in however they like. Whether at the beach, in a pond, or right in the middle of the greenery: the background can become as colorful as their imagination allows.
Coloring idea: A shell full of patterns
It's especially fun to skip a single solid color for the turtle's shell and instead give each little section its own look. Different shades of green, a touch of turquoise, or even a cheeky splash of yellow will turn the turtle into a real character. If you like, come up with a little story to go along with it: What's her name, where is she headed, and what has she already seen along the way?
