A Griffin in the Snow: King of the Winter Mountains to Color
Your child can color the griffin's mighty wings, its proud lion face with sharp claws, and of course the snowflakes dancing all around. Maybe he's perched on a rock, maybe he's making his way through a snowy landscape. There's certainly plenty of room for imagination and some serious crayon action.
Tip: Feathers and fur in two worlds
A nice approach when coloring is to treat the griffin's two body halves differently. The front part with the head and wings can shine in gold, beige, or warm brown tones, just like an eagle. The back part with fur and tail works well in a stronger brown or even orange, the way a lion's coat shimmers. The snow around it can stay bright white or get a soft light blue, for that typical wintry glow. A few little sparkle dots with a silver pen add the perfect finishing touch, if you happen to have one at home.
