So glad you stopped by! Cars are a never-ending favorite topic for lots of kids, and of course the workshop can't be missing either. In this coloring page, a mechanic is right in the middle of the action, carefully swapping out the headlight bulb. She knows exactly where to get her hands dirty, and shows your kids along the way that workshop work isn't a question of gender.

Bright Idea: The Mechanic Changes the Headlight Bulb
There's plenty to discover: the open hood, the tool in her hand, the shiny new bulb, and of course the work clothes with handy pockets. In the background there are a few more workshop details to color in too, like a stack of tires or a workbench. Plenty of space for little and big coloring artists alike.
Tip: Use chrome shades for the perfect shine
For the headlight bulb, bright yellow tones or a soft silver work well so it really shines. The mechanic's overalls can glow in bold blue or orange, finished off with reflector stripes in neon yellow. The car itself can shine in a favorite color, whether fire-engine red, deep blue, or cheeky pink, anything that's fun is allowed.
Maybe a little story will take shape while coloring: why did the bulb break, and how happy is the car owner when everything lights up again? You can download this picture for free and print it out easily at home on A4 paper. Grab your pencils, and let the workshop fun begin.
