Powerhouse with Horns: The Minotaur Lifts a Boulder
Your child can really dive in here: the rock with its cracks and edges, the Minotaur's shaggy fur, and a background with maybe a few stones or grass all offer plenty of room for imagination. Whether wild and colorful or painted true to life, every version will be unique.
Tip: Making muscles and rock texture visible
Warm browns and grays work well for the Minotaur's skin, looking especially three-dimensional with a bit of darker shading along the muscle contours. The boulder can be painted in various shades of gray, with a few darker lines for the cracks making it look much more realistic right away. The horns could shimmer ivory or even slightly golden, if your child likes to experiment.
Maybe you can tell a little story while coloring: why is the Minotaur lifting this rock? Is he building himself a cave, or simply clearing the path? Stories like these make coloring even more lively. Best of all: you can download this coloring page completely free and print it conveniently at home on A4 paper. Grab your crayons, spread some newspaper on the table, and let the Minotaur show off his strength in bright colors.
