Mississippi Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! The Mississippi is one of the longest and most famous rivers in the world, and just the name sounds like adventure. For this coloring page, we drew the wide river with its gentle bends, passing riverside trees and a little paddle steamer, just like the ones you know from old stories.

The mighty Mississippi is waiting for bright colors
Your child can discover and color in lots of exciting things here: the calm water of the river, the clouds in the sky, maybe a few birds flying over the waves, and of course the ship with its big wheel. There's definitely plenty of room for imagination and your own color ideas.
A little coloring tip
Water doesn't always have to be just blue. Try out different shades of blue and green to show how the light sparkles on the river, or even mix in a bit of brown, just like the real Mississippi often looks. The steamboat is welcome to be nice and colorful, with red or golden details, so it really stands out.
If you like, you can make up a little story while coloring: where might the ship be heading, and who's secretly on board? You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard paper, and the journey on paper can begin.
