A green monster with pure gold thumbs: the gardener coloring page
There's plenty to discover in this picture: plump flower pots in different sizes, a few curious blossoms just peeking out of the soil, and of course the monster itself with its crooked grin. Your child can really dig in here, whether with a steady hand on the petals or wild, sweeping strokes on the monster's fur.
Coloring idea: A monster in a flowery mood
Monsters don't always have to be green. How about purple fur, orange ears, and a smile in bright pink? The flower pots can be beautifully colored in earthy tones like brown and terracotta, while the blossoms get to really stand out in red, yellow, or a cheerful turquoise. Stripes, dots, or little hearts on the monster's belly are allowed too, because in this garden there are no rules except fun.
Maybe your child will come up with a little story along the way, like why the monster started gardening in the first place. Was it maybe homesick for colorful flowers? That's something you can find out together. You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper. Grab the crayons, spread a few newspapers on the table, and the little garden fun can begin.
