Up high: The swinging monster from the playground
Your child can get as creative as they like here: the monster itself, the frame of the swing, the sandy ground, and maybe even a few clouds in the background are all waiting to be filled with color. Every coloring will turn out one of a kind, since everyone knows monsters can be any color you can imagine.
Coloring idea: A monster in favorite colors
Give your child plenty of freedom here. A green monster with purple spots? A pink coat with yellow stripes? Anything goes, because real monsters don't follow color rules. You can color the swing chains in silver or gray, and the frame in a bold red or blue to make it really look like a playground.
For the ground, a sandy beige or a rich brown works well, with a few green blades of grass along the edge to bring the whole scene to life. If you like, you can even draw a second monster as a swing buddy in any empty space on the page. Download the page for free and print it out at home on standard letter size, and the next coloring afternoon is ready to go.
