Orangutans in the Rainforest: Climbing Fun to Color
Your child can really dive in here: the shaggy fur of the apes, wide leaves, hanging vines, and maybe even a curious ant on the ground are all waiting to be colored. There's definitely plenty of room for both small and big details.
Tip: Warm Tones for a Well-Rounded Picture
Orangutans naturally have reddish-brown fur, which blends wonderfully with orange, rust brown, and a touch of yellow. For the rainforest around them, feel free to use lots of different shades of green so the thicket looks nice and lush and alive. If you like, paint the sky in between in a soft blue, or let it peek through the leaves in just a few spots, just like in a real jungle.
Maybe while coloring you can tell each other a little story: how the two orangutans swing from tree to tree searching for ripe fruit, and snuggle up together in the evening in their self-built nest of leaves.
