A Path Through the Forest to Color
There's plenty for your child to discover and fill with color here. The tree trunks can be light or dark, the leafy canopy sometimes lush green, sometimes autumn-colored. And the path itself invites them to think about which color best suits a forest floor of earth, moss, or leaves. Little details like stones or blades of grass make sure that even more practiced coloring hands won't be finished too quickly.
Coloring idea: The path tells a story
A nice tip for in between: let your child tell you who might be walking along this path. A fox on its way home? A hiker with a backpack? Depending on the story, the forest can be colored cheerfully bright or mysteriously dark, with brown tones for the trunks and various shades of green for the leaves.
