The Postman from Above: Delivering Letters from a Bird's-Eye View
What makes this perspective so special is that your child can not only color the postman himself but also discover lots of little details. There are letters, packages, maybe a garden fence or a few flower beds in front of the houses. This turns a simple coloring page into a little search-and-find game with crayons.
Coloring Idea: Give Each House Its Own Color
A lovely approach for this picture is to give each house its own color, just like in a real neighborhood. A red roof here, a yellow house there, with a few green front yards in between. The postman himself can shine in bold yellow or blue, depending on what uniform your child imagines. The letters can shimmer in different pastel shades, almost like little colorful greetings on their way somewhere.
Along the way, you can tell a little story about it: who lives in which house, and what might be written in the letters? Maybe a postcard from grandma or a birthday invitation. You can download this picture easily and for free and print it out at home on A4 paper. Then the postman's journey can begin with crayons, imagination, and a bit of neighborhood gossip.
