A rainbow brings color to the flower meadow
What makes this picture special is the mix of order and freedom. The rainbow's stripes provide a clear structure, while the meadow, with its flowers, grasses, and maybe a few curious butterflies, leaves plenty of room for your child's own ideas. That way kids can get started right away without feeling overwhelmed.
Tip: colors just like in real life, or however you like
One lovely idea is to color the rainbow in its classic colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, just like you'd see it in the sky. It's fun, and a little bit satisfying when everything lines up perfectly in the end. If you prefer a colorful, playful mix, you can also add pink, turquoise, or golden shades, anything goes as long as you like it.
For the meadow, lush green and lots of different flower colors work beautifully, maybe with a few dots of white or yellow for little daisies. You could even make up a little story to go with it, like a snail taking a leisurely stroll under the rainbow, or a bee searching for the prettiest flower. That adds a bit of fun to the coloring and brings even more imagination into play.
You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on a standard sheet of paper whenever it suits you. Then the colorful afternoon can begin, at the table, on the floor, or outside on the patio, wherever you and your kids like best.
