Rainbow over the Lighthouse by the Sea Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page takes you and your kids straight to the coast, to a place where the wind smells of salt and the waves splash against the rocks. Above a proud lighthouse stretches a magnificent rainbow, as if the sky had dressed up especially for this moment. It's exactly this mix of solid and airy that makes the motif so appealing: here the sturdy tower with its clear lines, there the playful arc with its seven colors.

A rainbow over the lighthouse by the sea to color in
There's plenty to discover for little artists. The lighthouse can shine in bold red and white, just like real-life examples, or in brand-new colors that exist only in your child's imagination. Add to that some waves, maybe a few seagulls in the sky, and of course the rainbow itself, just waiting to be carefully colored in.
Tip: The rainbow as an interactive color lesson
Why not use the arc as a little journey of discovery through color theory. Ask your child which color starts at the very top, and work your way down together through red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. The sea can shimmer in several shades of blue, from light turquoise near the coast to deep blue on the horizon, and the lighthouse might get a cheerful yellow in its lamp window, so it can guide sailors even in a storm.
If you like, make up a little story along the way: why is the tower shining right now, when the sun is out? Maybe to welcome the rainbow! You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper, get your crayons or colored pencils ready, and your shared seaside afternoon can begin, no wet feet required.
