The Brave Salmon on a Great Journey
What makes this motif so special is the movement you can almost feel. Your child can discover the curving lines of the fish's body, color each scale individually, and imagine just how wild the water must be rushing around it. Little details like stones in the river or waves also leave room for their own ideas, making the picture a true one-of-a-kind creation.
Tip: Scales in Rainbow Colors
A lovely trick for this motif is not to color all the scales the same color, but to play with several shades instead. Silver, pink, and a bold red give the salmon a truly shimmering look, just like in nature. For the water, different shades of blue blending into one another work beautifully, along with a few white foam crests for the current.
While coloring, you might even tell the little story of how the salmon finds its way back to its birthplace, no matter how hard the river fights against it. You can download the coloring page completely free of charge and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the colorful journey can begin.
