Splish, splash: The bathing snake in the pond
Your child can trace the snake's curvy lines and fill them in with color, while water lilies float around and little ripples stir the water. Maybe together you'll spot a dragonfly or a few fish keeping the bathing creature company. In any case, there's plenty of room for imagination and little stories of your own.
Tip: Use cool colors for a true pond feeling
Various shades of blue and green work wonderfully for the pond, blending into one another, just like real water is never only one color. The snake itself could be colored in bright green with yellow dots, or your child can invent their own colorful pattern entirely. Purple or turquoise also look fabulous on shiny snake skin.
If you like, let the snake have a little smile, after all, bathing makes you happy, even in the animal kingdom. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the relaxed coloring afternoon by the pond can begin.
