Sphinx in the Moonlight: A Mysterious Night to Color
Your child can discover the great lion’s body, the calm face of the sphinx, and the glowing moon. Perhaps a few stars are shimmering in the sky while the vast desert stretches out behind the statue. With Desert Colors and a Silvery Moon
Beige, ochre, light brown, and a touch of orange are especially lovely choices for the sand. The sphinx can shine in warm shades of gold and brown, while the moon glows in pale yellow, cream, or soft gray. Dark blue, violet, or black make a wonderful backdrop for the night sky. With a white pencil or a very light blue, little stars can sparkle especially beautifully afterward.
