A starfish takes over the ocean floor
Our starfish is lying relaxed on the ocean floor, nestled among seaweed, little stones and maybe a shell or two. Your child can color not only the star itself, but also the sandy seabed, the water plants and all the little details around it. So there's plenty of room for imagination.
Tip: Be bold with colors
In real nature, starfish are often orange or red, but who says our paper friend has to stick to that? Purple, turquoise or even a cheerful pink would look just as good. For the ocean floor, soft blues and greens work nicely, giving a sense of depth and calm. If you like, you can also use watercolors to create a lovely gradient from light to dark.
Maybe while coloring you can tell a little story too: how the starfish slowly wanders across the sand, greeting its friends the fish and the crabs. You can download the coloring page quickly and for free, and print it out at home on a regular sheet of paper. Then the colorful ocean fun can begin.
