Sun Reflecting in the Lake Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a calm lake in which the sun reflects itself as if in a giant mirror. It's exactly this play of reflections that makes the motif so special, because there's twice as much to discover: the sun up in the sky, and its reflection down in the water.

When the Sun Takes a Bath in the Lake
Your child can color in the radiant sunbeams, the gentle wavy lines on the lake, and maybe even a few passing clouds. Plants along the shore or a little boat can also be brought to life with color, if they appear in the picture. It's a motif where calm and imagination go hand in hand.
Tip: Two Worlds, Two Shades
A nice trick when coloring is to make the sun up top a bold yellow or orange, while its reflection in the water is a bit more muted and mixed with blue tones. This creates the impression of real, sparkling water. A few white spots or light dabs can beautifully suggest the glitter on the water's surface.
If you like, you can make up a little story to go with it: maybe the sun tells the lake every evening everything it saw during the day. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a cozy spot at the table, and the journey to the peaceful sun-lit lake can begin.
