A treehouse in a tree to dream about and color
Your child can let their imagination run wild here: the roof, the shutters, the gnarled tree bark, and all the leaves are just waiting to be filled with color. Maybe a little forest creature lives in the treehouse and would love some fresh color. Either way, there's plenty of room for their own ideas.
Coloring idea: a different treehouse for every season
How about coloring the treehouse in fresh spring green one time, and in warm autumn tones another? With brown and ochre for the trunk, rich green for the leaves, and a cheerful red or blue for the roof, a cozy home in the tree comes to life in no time. Yellow windows make the house look even more inviting, as if the lights were already on inside.
If you like, tell a little story to go along with it: who lives up there, and who gets to visit today? That turns coloring into a small adventure right at the kitchen table. You can download this picture for free and print it out at home, ideally on regular A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet corner, and the transformation of the tree into a colorful little treehouse can begin.
