So glad you stopped by! Today we're setting off on a big journey to one of the longest rivers in Europe: the Volga. It winds its way for thousands of kilometers through forests, cities, and meadows before finally flowing into the Caspian Sea. A river like this can be hard for kids to imagine, but with a coloring page, the Volga becomes something they can really picture, and it makes you want to go on an adventure of your own right away.

The Volga is waiting for bright colors
On the coloring page, you can discover together how the water gently winds through the landscape, perhaps accompanied by little boats, riverbank plants, or curious birds. Your child can experiment here just as they like, imagining what a river really looks like when it's not just a line on a map but something you experience with your own eyes and colors.
Tip: From light blue to deep turquoise
Rivers don't have to be one plain shade of blue. Try working with different shades of blue and green so the Volga's water feels alive, just like it truly changes depending on the weather and time of day. The riverbanks can be a lush green, with a few yellow or brown dots for sand and earth. If you like, invent a little story to go along with it: maybe a fishing boat is drifting downstream, or a heron is searching the shore for its lunch.
