Zebra Scratching on a Rock Coloring Page
Do you know that feeling? Sometimes you just get an itch, and then you simply have to rub yourself against something for a good while. That's exactly what our zebra is doing on this coloring page. With obvious delight, it scrubs its back against a big, round rock, as if there were nothing more important in the world. A wonderfully everyday yet funny scene right in the middle of the savanna.

Scratch, scratch: The zebra at the rock seeks relief
There's plenty for your kids to discover and color here. The zebra's typical stripes offer lots of space for focused back-and-forth coloring, the rock invites earthy tones, and in the background you can add grasses, maybe a few clouds or distant mountains. A motif that captures movement and calm at the same time.
Coloring idea: Stripes with style
Black and white are the classic choice for zebras, but who says it has to stay that way? Maybe one stripe becomes a rich gray, the next a warm beige. The rock can be shaded softly in browns and grays to make it look nice and textured. And if the ground around it glows in sunny yellow or lush green, you can almost feel the savanna heat through the paper.
Along the way, you can come up with a little story together: why is the zebra so itchy, do you think? Was it a fly, the dust, or just a lazy afternoon? Little questions like these make coloring even more lively. Simply download the picture for free and print it out at home at your leisure on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are some pens, a bit of time, and the scratching and coloring can begin.
