The Alps to Color: Peaks, Meadows and a Bit of Mountain Air

Your child can dive right in here: snow-covered peaks, green meadows, maybe a few fir trees on the mountainside or clouds cuddling around the summit. There's also plenty of room for little explorers with big imaginations – who says a mountain peak can't be purple sometimes?

Coloring Idea: From Snow White to Meadow Green

A nice tip to get started: up at the peaks, it's fine to keep things white and light blue, like fresh snow. Further down, it can shift into a rich green for the alpine meadows, where the first cows are probably already grazing. Brown and gray tones work well for the rocks in between, and a touch of yellow for the sun makes the picture really cozy. Anyone who likes can let their imagination run wild and try out some unusual colors too – after all, it's your child's mountain panorama in the end.

You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. All you need then are some pencils, a quiet corner, and the little mountain hike with crayons can begin. Enjoy coloring the Alps!
