Vroom, vroom: The gardener mows the lawn
There's plenty for your child to discover and color in here. The gardener himself in his practical work clothes, the lawnmower with all its wheels and handles, and of course lots of grass being mowed. Maybe a few flowers or bushes are growing at the edge of the picture, deserving just as much attention as the main character. A garden picture like this really invites you to settle in with your colored pencils.
A little coloring tip
For the grass, feel free to experiment with different shades of green, it looks especially lively and is fun when mixing colors. The gardener's work clothes can be nice and bright, whether it's glowing orange, bold blue, or a cheerful red, anything goes here. And if you like, make up a little story to go with it: what might the gardener be called, and what does he do once the lawn is mowed? Maybe he treats himself to a glass of lemonade in the shade.
