Your child can discover how a big idea grows from tiny snippets. The artist certainly has her hands full, because a triangle wants to sit next to a circle, a strip dances along the edge of the picture, and a jagged piece of paper looks almost like a little sun. While coloring, the clothes, hair, table, and all the many shapes can be designed just as they like.

Bright colors are especially lovely for the collage: sunny yellow, raspberry red, sky blue, grass green, or bold purple. Perhaps every piece of paper will get a different color, as if the artist had emptied out a rainbow box. Maybe a picture of a garden, a house, or a funny fantasy animal will appear on the table – your child can simply make it up.
