Cleverly Hidden: The Snake in the Tall Grass
What makes this picture so special is the way it brings together people, animals, and nature in a small scene. Your child can color the snake's curvy lines, have fun with all the blades of grass, and discover along the way just how much life can hide in a single meadow. Every row of grass, every scale offers room for imagination and calm little hands.
Tip: Playing with Patterns
Green, brown, or even a bold turquoise work well for the snake, depending on whether it wants to blend in or stand out. Small patterns like dots or stripes on its body are especially fun and invite a closer look. The grass can grow in different shades of green, from soft light green to rich forest green, to make the scene feel really alive.
If you like, you can even make up a little story to go along with it: Why is the snake hiding right now? Is it waiting for a friend, or just playing hide-and-seek? You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the adventure into the tall grass can begin.
