A Little Dragon Sees the Light of Day
There's plenty to discover in the picture. The eggshell with its fine cracks, the dragon's tiny claws, the first delicate hints of wings, and of course the mischievous sparkle in its eyes are all just waiting to be brought to life with color. The ground beneath, perhaps a nest of twigs or soft moss, also leaves plenty of room for creative ideas.
Tip: Rainbow-Colored Scales
Does a dragon really have to be green? Not with us. Encourage your children to experiment with color: a turquoise belly, purple wing tips, or golden claws look truly enchanting. For the eggshell, creamy beige or soft pastel tones work beautifully, creating a lovely contrast with the colorful dragon.
