Sweet Tooth with Paws: The Bear Collects Honey at the Beehive
There's plenty to discover and color around the bear, from the curious bees buzzing around the thief, to the wooden beehive, to the flowers and grasses on the ground. Plenty of room for little artist hands to really let loose and fill every corner of the picture with color.
Coloring idea: From honey yellow to bear brown
Warm brown tones work well for the bear's fur, maybe with a lighter brown on the belly and snout for some depth. The honey can glow in rich yellow and orange, almost as if it were shimmering on the paper. The bees get their classic black-and-yellow stripes, and if you like, you can give them delicate, transparent wings as they buzz around. A warm wood brown suits the beehive, while lush green and colorful flower dots in the background bring the meadow to life.
Maybe you and your child can come up with a little story together about why the bear is feeling especially brave today and daring to approach the beehive. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are some pencils, a quiet moment, and the honey-sweet coloring session can begin.
