Brachiosaurus at the Waterhole: A Giant Takes a Drinking Break
Your child can get wonderfully creative here: the Brachiosaurus's wrinkly skin invites fun patterns, the waterhole with little bubbles adds variety, and all around there may be some plants or rocks just waiting to be colored in. Plenty of room for both big and small coloring artists.
Tip: Gradient Colors from Neck to Tail
A lovely effect appears when the Brachiosaurus's neck is colored a bit lighter than its massive body - making it look almost as if it's gracefully leaning down toward the water. Green and gray tones fit the prehistoric mood perfectly, but a bold blue shade for the skin works just as well, since after all, nobody really knows what color dinosaurs truly were.
For the waterhole, soft blue and turquoise tones work great, with a few lighter splashes for light reflections. And while the Brachiosaurus drinks, you can imagine together who else might come to the waterhole - maybe a curious flying reptile? The coloring page is free to download, just print it out at home on A4 paper, grab your crayons, and set off on a journey into prehistoric times.
