Butterfly in the Garden: A Coloring Page for Fluttering and Wondering
There is plenty here for little artists to discover. The wings, with their many little sections, are waiting to be colored in every shade of the rainbow, while the blossoms and leaves in the background offer space for soft greens and bright flower colors. Even if little fingers are still a bit wobbly as they move across the page, every color looks wonderful here.
Coloring Idea: One Wing, Two Twins
A lovely trick for beginners and experienced artists alike: First, color the left wing, then let your child try to color the right wing as similarly as possible—just like real butterflies do with their symmetrical patterns. It encourages thoughtful color choices and is lots of fun, with no pressure if the colors don’t end up exactly the same.
