Starfish Coloring Page

Dear parents, do you know that feeling when you suddenly spot a starfish in the shallow water at the beach? We've captured that very same little wonder for you as a coloring page. With its five arms and slightly grainy skin, the starfish is one of the most rewarding motifs of all, since it can be colored in nice and calmly, without any tiny details that might frustrate little hands.

A Starfish to Color: Sparkling Guest from the Coral Reef

Your child can dive right in and discover along the way that a starfish doesn't always have to be orange. All around it, a few corals and little air bubbles are also waiting to be filled with color, so that in the end a whole little underwater world appears on the paper.

Tip: Conjure up a bit of ocean mood with watercolors

For the starfish itself, bold shades like orange, red, or even a cheeky pink work especially well, since these colors actually occur in nature. The corals in the background can happily shine in purple or turquoise, and if you like, dab a few light dots onto the starfish's arms with a dry brush to make it look extra lively. A little storytelling tip for along the way: maybe this starfish is currently looking for its best friend, the clownfish, and needs the most colorful reef possible to guide the way.

You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on standard letter size, and the underwater journey can begin. Whether with colored pencils, felt-tip pens, or watercolors, this starfish forgives any approach and is guaranteed to bring a cheerful result to the fridge door.
