The Phoenix with Ring of Fire: A Bird That Never Gives Up
In the picture, the phoenix spreads its magnificent wings wide, right in the middle of a sweeping ring of fire. The feathers practically invite bold lines and patterns, while the flames all around leave plenty of room for wild color experiments. Big and small artists alike can really let loose here.
Tip: Playing with Color in Fire and Feathers
Warm tones work especially well for the flames, think orange, red, and a rich yellow blending into one another. The phoenix's feathers can shimmer, perhaps with a touch of gold or copper at the wingtips, while the body glows in deep red or bright orange. If you like, let little sparks of yellow and white dance in the center of the circle, it adds extra energy to the picture.
You can download this coloring page quickly and for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Grab your crayons or colored pencils, spread some newspaper over the table, and let your imagination run wild. Maybe while coloring you can make up a little story together about what the phoenix is experiencing and why it flies so bravely through the flames. That way, coloring turns into a fun little adventure for the whole family in no time.
