Photographer with Tripod at the Waterfall: a Coloring Page for Little Nature Explorers
If you look closely, there's plenty to discover, the little trees and bushes at the edge, the stones in the riverbed, and of course the proud tripod, which is almost as tall as the photographer herself. While coloring, your child can imagine what the photo will look like once it's taken, and what colors the waterfall is showing right now.
A Little Tip: Playing with Light and Shadow
Waterfalls come alive through light and dark tones. Try coloring the water in a very light blue or even white, and keep the rocks next to it in a strong gray or brown, this creates a lovely contrast. The photographer can wear bright, colorful clothes, maybe a bold jacket, so she stands out nicely among all the green and blue. For the trees and plants, different shades of green work especially well, from fresh light green to deep pine green. If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with it: What might the woman be photographing right now, a rainbow in the mist or a curious squirrel on the riverbank? You can download this picture completely free and easily print it at home on regular A4 paper. Grab your crayons, get cozy, and let your imagination run wild while coloring!
