A capuchin monkey discovers his crunchy apple

Your child can color the capuchin monkey’s round eyes, fluffy fur and long, curved tail. The tree stump has lots of exciting lines too: growth rings on top, rough bark on the side and perhaps a little moss around the edge. Of course, the apple can look wonderfully juicy. Maybe it will even get a little highlight to make it look extra fresh.

Coloring idea: A forest picnic for the little monkey

Capuchin monkeys often have light fur on their faces and darker fur on their heads, backs and tails. Beige, light brown, dark brown or gray will therefore look lovely together in your picture. The apple can be classic red, but yellow-green or golden yellow looks great too – after all, only the monkey knows which variety he has found.

You can color the tree stump in warm shades of brown and add some dark brown between the grooves. A green forest floor, a few colorful leaves or a blue sky in the background will turn the picture into a little scene. You can download this coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are some coloring pencils and a little artist to give the capuchin monkey his favorite forest.
