A centaur wanders through the rustling autumn leaves
Your child can get started on two fronts here: the powerful horse body with its flowing mane, and the treetops all around bursting with colorful leaves. They might also spot a few acorns on the ground or birds fluttering between the branches. Plenty of space for little and big hands who want to practice with their crayons. By the way, you don't have to take it all too seriously, a centaur with pink fur patches has its own charm too.
Tip for autumn splashes of color
For the forest, a mix of orange, reddish-brown and a rich yellow works wonders to make the leaves really glow. The centaur itself can stay classic in shades of brown or gray, or your child can invent their own fur in turquoise or purple, why not. A little story idea on the side: maybe the centaur is collecting the prettiest leaves for an autumn festival in the forest.
